什么是数词

数词是表示数量多少和顺序先后的词，分别为基数词和序数词。

基数词

1.表示数量多少的词是基数词，如：one,?two,?three等。

2.基数词构成法

1）1—12各个词均不一样，需牢记，以下为1-12的单词：

one,two,three,four,five,six,seven,eight,nine,ten,eleven,twelve

2)13-19均以后缀-teen结尾

13-19分别是 thirteen,fourteen,fifteen,sixteen,seventeen,eighteen,nineteen

可以看出thirteen,fifteen需要着重记忆。

3）20,30，...,90这些整十的词也有规律，均以后缀-ty结尾

对应词分别是：twenty,?thirty,?forty,?fifty,?sixty,?seventy,?eighty,?ninety

记忆的时候着重记特殊词，如twenty,forty

4）23,45这样的词怎么表达

23,45,78这样的词可以将整十的词和个位数的词用连字符拼到一起：

如：23 twenty-three 45 forty-five 78 seventy-eight

5）100,200，...，900这样的词用one，two，...，nine和hundred拼到一起即可

如：100 one hundred 500 five hundred

点拨：five hundred中hundred不用复数，不加s，hundred只有在hundreds of这一个词组中用到复数形式。

6）230,783，901这样的词怎么表达

整百数和整十数之间由and连接，十位与个位之间要加连字符“-”。如果十位数为零，那就在百位和个位之间用and连接

如：230 two hundred and thirty

783 seven hundred and eighty-three

901 nine hundred and one

7)千 thousand 百万 million 十亿 billion

1,000以上，先从右往左数，每三位数加一个“，”，第一个“，”前为thousand.第二个“，”前为million，第三个“，”前为billion

更大的数字表达跟前边讲过的格式都差不多，就不再赘述，只举几个例子，好好体会。

3,007 three thousand and seven

18,423 eighteen thousand four hundred and twenty-three

6,260,309 six millon two hundred and sixty thousand three hundred and nine

750，000，000，000 seven hundred and fifty billion

这些大的数字小学阶段可能不要求，如果不要求的话就当了解知识。

序数词

顾名思义，表示顺序的数词。

构成规则：

1）序数词前要加定冠词the，但也有不加的情况，下期总结

2）第一，第二，第三分别是first，second，third，其他序数词构成则是在基数词后加th

如：six→sixth（第六） seven→seventh ten→tenth

3）第一到第二十：first second third fourth fifth sixth seventh eighth ninth tenth eleventh twelfth thirteenth fourteenth fifteenth sixteenth seventeenth eighteenth nineteenth twentieth

4）二十、三十等基数词变为序数词时,要把y变成ie再加-th。例如：??

twenty→twentieth

forty→fortieth

5）基数词几十几变成序数词时,表示几十的数词不变,只把表示几的基数词变成序数词。如：

twenty-five→twenty-fifth

seventy-eight→seventy-eighth

6）第100 the one hundredth 第536 the five hundred and thirty-sixth

第1000 the one thousandth 第7048 the seven thousand and forty-eighth

第一亿 the one hundred millionth

7）日期中常用到序数词的缩略格式

由阿拉伯数字加序数词的最后两个字母构成，例如：1st,?2nd,?3rd,?4th,?21st,?32nd,?40th
