This is because at present entry is essentially only possible in the following ways.

因为目前入境基本上只有以下几种方式：

1 [Business visa]: Chinese vaccine + invitation letter from domestic unit (some embassies still require PU, must confirm with embassy or consulate before applying)

2 [Business visa]: Apec card + Chinese vaccine + letter of invitation from domestic unit

5 [Humanitarian visa]: For immediate family members in China who are critically ill or in mourning

So you may wish to check with the SFBC team to see which situation you correspond with and what methods you can use to apply for a visa, and then just consult the SFBC team.

In addition, foreigners must abide by the laws and regulations of the People&39;s Republic of China while in there and therefore need to be aware of the following visa issues before coming to China.

另外，外国人在中国必须遵守中华人民共和国法律，法规，因此来华前需要注意以下签证问题：

(i) Applicants should check that their visas are valid and that they have a sufficient number of entries before coming to China. Those whose visas have expired or who have not made enough entries should apply for a new visa.

（一）申请人来华前应检查签证是否有效，并有足够的入境次数。签证过期或入境次数不足者，应重新申请签证。

(ii) Foreigners bringing animals, plants, currency and other items into China must comply with the relevant Chinese laws, as well as the relevant regulations of the health and quarantine, animal and plant inspection and quarantine, customs, and financial supervision authorities.

（二）外国人携带动植物，货币等物品进入中国须遵守中国相关法律，以及卫生检疫，动植物检验检疫，海关，以及金融监管部门的有关规定。

(iii) A foreigner may not enter China to engage in activities unrelated to the subject matter declared in his or her visa application.

（三）外国人进入中国不得从事与其申请签证时申报事由无关的活动。

(iv) Foreign nationals are not allowed to overstay in China. Foreign nationals in China should pay attention to the validity of their passports and visas, and if they need to extend their stay, they must apply for an extension at the local public security authorities before the expiry of seven days of their stay.

（四）外国公民不得逾期在华滞留。外国公民在华应注意自己护照有效期和签证的停留期，如需延期停留，必须在停留期7日满前，前往当地公安机关申请延期。

(v) Foreigners are not allowed to enter areas where access to foreigners is restricted without permission.

（五）未经批准，外国人不得进入限制外国人进入的区域。

(vi) The following will result in refusal to board, denial of entry or penalties such as fines, so please take care to avoid.

（六）下列情况将导致被拒绝登机，被拒绝入境或被处以罚款等处罚，请注意避免：

1. Those who come to China without a prior visa, except for those who are exempted from visa requirements.

1、未事先办妥签证而前来中国者，但规定免除签证者除外；

2. Those who come to China on an expired visa.

2、持用过期失效签证前来中国者；

3. Those who have overstayed in China.

3、在华逾（停留）期滞留者；

4. Those whose passports have expired during their stay in China (regardless of whether the visa stay is valid or not).

4、在华停留期间，护照过期者（无论签证停留期是否有效）。
