不只是work, 也可以是埋在, 淹没在其它事情里
I&39;m buried in+ something
I&39;m totally buried in household chores.
我完全淹没了在家务事了。
类似的还有：

swamp也是“淹没”的意思
（super busy）

我被埋在事情堆里了。
I&39;m overwhelmed.
overwhelmed:
（too many things to do that you can&39;t even handle it.
and You feel kinda helpless or frustrated.

可能反过来安慰你。
